Over the past few months logs have been going into this beautiful cabin in Trout Lake, WA.  This cabin includes log porch columns, log truss, log staircase and log railings.  All the logs for this project are made from high quality Douglas fir ranging in diameter from 12" to 20".  The hand crafted log staircase just went in this week and we have begun construction on the log railings and posts for the interior.  Feel free to check out our other web site for more information, www.MtLogHomes.com .

This 30'x40' log pavilion was just completed in New Mexico.  It is located in a national forest at 10,000 feet.  It is constructed from Douglas Fir logs measuring 13" in diameter.  The log work was pre-constructed in our log yard, then shipped to New Mexico along with all the hardware, lumber and roofing to complete the construction.  You can see other pictures of log pavilions at our main web site, www.MtLogHomes.com.

The roof, framing and exterior staining are completed on the Eagle Ridge Plan.  The client chose Sikkens Teak for the exterior stain and a dark brown composition roof.  This house is 1500 square feet on the main floor with a 1500 square foot basement.  It has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 living rooms.  Vaulted ceilings on the main floor give the home a more open and airy feel.  Check back to see more pictures as this beautiful home nears completion.

We just completed a new log covered entry deck up at Rimrock Lake near White Pass, WA.  Work included a deck, log framing, metal roofing, log stairs and railings and a new door.  The original cabin was built in the 50's from fir logs harvested on site.   The cabin has recently been stained and chinked.
